'West German Art Pottery' is a term describing pottery made in the years between 1949 & 1990 when Germany was divided into East and West.
West German Pottery is known for its great variety of forms and expressive colors. It is heavily decorated, typically with a great variety of glaze effects in more than one colour, many using thick contoured glazes.
The first 3 digits on the bottom indicates the vase's shape, whilst the final 2 digits are the height in cm.
